Milford Tritons ride a different course each Sunday. It's a really welcoming group of riders - just turn up and enjoy some great routes down country lanes to a coffee shop, then back to the start... Glad I gave them a try.

Great little loop to add to longer rides. Quiet green country lanes, number of beauty spots before touring through thr military range along good gravel track with stunning views over cliffs full of nesting sea birds. Road bike with good tyres will be fine👍

Machen gravel loop

Park at Machen Village Hall (free). Head over the river and away you go. Some mud, few gnarly bits and short steep climb. Nice little route worth doing as is, or adding to a longer route. OK for gravel.

Parked at Bryn Bach park (free), soon hit rough ground, a mechanical breakdown, a fixe and off again. Quarry is nice but hit wrong turn ended up on green tracks in cleat pedals - aweful in places. MBT more sensible and diversion down to the resvoir would be better but suspect this was another muddy
