South Pembs Loop
Great ride on quite lanes with only a couple of major roads to cross. Good tarmac.

Great weather and a large turnout for a steady ride through lanes to St Annes Head & cake at Angle. Then back to Milford.

Milford Tritons ride a different course each Sunday. It's a really welcoming group of riders - just turn up and enjoy some great routes down country lanes to a coffee shop, then back to the start... Glad I gave them a try.

Great little loop to add to longer rides. Quiet green country lanes, number of beauty spots before touring through thr military range along good gravel track with stunning views over cliffs full of nesting sea birds. Road bike with good tyres will be fine👍

Park at Machen Village Hall (free). Head over the river and away you go. Some mud, few gnarly bits and short steep climb. Nice little route worth doing as is, or adding to a longer route. OK for gravel.

Parked at Bryn Bach park (free), soon hit rough ground, a mechanical breakdown, a fixe and off again. Quarry is nice but hit wrong turn ended up on green tracks in cleat pedals - aweful in places. MBT more sensible and diversion down to the resvoir would be better but suspect this was another muddy

Started from Abergavenny car park (around £6 for the day). Easy climb towards the final ascent to Gospel pass. Certainly worth the trip for the views. I reckon I'm intermediate rider; it was within my capability. Good tarmac throughout the route and relatively few cars until past Talgarth. Lunch was

Nice road loop and generally good tarmac bar odd section. Easy free parking in Usk and plenty of places to fuel up in Monmouth.

Nice tarmac, with gravel through army range. We did it on road bikes with good tyres - no problem with punctures.
