Not a great ride. Had to dodge folks on trails. Too many vehicles on roads. Interrupted about 6 times by texts and calls and a doorbell (no one ever rings my doorbell!). Skinned my knee and bent my rear hanger. Boo hoo.

But every Bicycle Sunday (official signage and everything) on Cañada Road is Super! And it's not a tacky pageant of excess and gladiatorial violence. I like my Americana humble and organic, like a nice bike ride.

Great ride and great Anti-trump rally!! I participate in those a lot and my St x Wa license plate on my trike says 'FU*K TRUMP' in full and is lit up so everywhere I go people get the message!! We have to stay strong...he's losing support by whatever is left of the GOP...

It was hard enough to find my motivation (behind the couch!), So a nice, flat route was in order. I knew this would not still be wet from the drizzle last night. I'm not fond of wet when on my bike.

Groups and friends are riding tomorrow. The forecast then is cloudy and cooler; so I went out in the starkly sunny today instead. It's busy busy out there.

After about a month off my bike, I flew home to some wonderful weather (minus the smog), so I rode my go-to loop. It helps me gage my body strength. A few spin sessions in the hotels during my travels really did help.
