Zum mittlerweile dritten Mal lud ADFC-Fördermitglied "Fahrradhaus Özdin" zum Start einer ADFC-Tour ein. Gökhan Özdin und sein Team begrüßten die fünfzehn Teilnehmenden mit kühlen Getränken. Das ein oder andere kleine Problem an den Fahrrädern wurde kurzerhand behoben, bevor es auf die Tour ging. Alles in allem: Ein toller Auftakt. Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen und Westwind ging es auf die ersten knapp 20 km (mit Trinkpause) bis zum Eiscafe Longo in Wegberg. Eine gute Wahl. Auf der Rückfahrt Richtung Rheydt gab es einen Zwischenstop an einem "Erdkühlschrank" oder "Bodenkühlschrank": Für kleines Geld kann hier der spontane Durst gelöscht werden.
