A walk designed to minimise wading through mud. Mainly on two farm tracks, but about half mile across fields. Not too bad. Worst bit is the 400m along the busy Barnsley Rd. But at least there is a footway. Travellers always good.

A walk without stiles and very little mud. Hardly any hills either. There are public loos in Sandall Beat Woods. Good playground too. Bet it's heaving with families at weekends. Plenty of options to make shorter or longer

Turned out to be longer than we wanted. A couple of fields were quite muddy, but I've walked worse. Deffer woods quite nice
