Oxspring Romtikle Hunthwaite and stones
Nice woodland by the river down to Cheese Bottom. Impressive viaduct now carrying the TPT. Hunthwaite is a nice area, especially the hall. Stepping stones were a doddle. Hardly any water.

Monk Bretton Priory to RSPB Old Moor
Walking group. Needed to juggle cars to both ends. A bit warm so felt a good length for us oldies. The TPT is a great resource.

Tankersley Pilley Westwood CP
A surprisingly nice walk to say it was cut by two A roads and the M1. Only just out of the urban sprawl of High Green. Lovely woods and good views. Very little road walking on this one.

Ford to Renishaw GC
The woods on both sides of the Moss Brook are very nice and open. The old golf course is just like lovely parklands.

Traveller Oxspring to Silkstone Circular
A walk designed to minimise wading through mud. Mainly on two farm tracks, but about half mile across fields. Not too bad. Worst bit is the 400m along the busy Barnsley Rd. But at least there is a footway. Travellers always good.

Upper Denby - Deffer - Gunthwaite
Fields were quite muddy but not horrendous. Deffer Woods is nice with good paths

Sandall Beat and Cantley Park
A walk without stiles and very little mud. Hardly any hills either. There are public loos in Sandall Beat Woods. Good playground too. Bet it's heaving with families at weekends. Plenty of options to make shorter or longer

Turned out to be longer than we wanted. A couple of fields were quite muddy, but I've walked worse. Deffer woods quite nice
