This was made a somewhat challenging walk due to icy slopes on the ascent. We also had the treat of a snow flurry while walking up to Foel Goch.
The original route took us on a spur to Elidir Fawr but due to light/time and the weather obviously starting to turn, we decided to curtail the route. As it

Great Ridge taking in Back Tor, Lose Tor and Mam Tor over the Mam Tor Ridge Path. Then through to Lords Seat on Rushup Edge. Return via Barber Booth and Edale Village. A pleasant and relatively easy route. Small and mostly gradual climbs. Large sections along the Mam Tor Ridge are paved!

Usually a very muddy walk, most of the mud had frozen to at least a firm ice cream so that walking was made tolerable. A little bit of mist added to the atmosphere.
A very pleasant couple of hours!
