Ambleside 50k
Spending a couple of days recce-ing the 7 Valleys route. This is the first 32 miles starting & finishing in Ambleside.
Very rocky underfoot once you get in to the hills.
We refilled bottles from the mountain streams but there is a YHA about 18 miles in to the course…

Half of the “Kinder Dozen” and then a couple more to make up to 2000m. Much of this route is completely off path; best done before the fern grows.
