Great hike, I highly recommend it. Perhaps continue further to the Dachstein viewpoint, or simply linger at the upper lake (Schafkogelsee) and cool your feet in the lake. There's a small beach. I would recommend driving up the toll road and hiking to Schafkogelsee.
