I can definitely recommend this route. There's something special about a gravel pit like this. One or two slopes are perfect for running down ;)
At the highest point you have a great view. Since it hasn't rained for a long time, I found the route a bit dusty.
But I give it two thumbs up...

Once again beautiful and very quiet. Spreewald is always a good choice :)
A small highlight on the hike is the observation tower on the 144m high Wehlaberg. The tower itself is another 28m high and you have a fantastic view over the Spreewald.
