It was still raining at home – really dramatic, as if the sky had decided to just let everything out today. 🌧️

And we were like: „Should we go for a walk by the lake or not?” 🤔

The inner voice: „Stay on the sofa.”

The other voice: „Adventure!!”

Well… Put on our clothes 👕, grab the umbrella ☂️, and off

Also a beautiful tradition: Cycling cozily around Lake Murten with my beloved. Sounds romantic, right? 🌅

If only my spectacular performance during picnic preparations hadn't happened… one wrong move, a dramatic CRACK – and voilà, my back decided to take center stage today. 🎭💥



Now the big question: Can

Clouds this morning ☁️ – a real 'stay-in-bed' mood. But zap! Just before noon, the sun finally came out ☀️, as if it had also noticed: Oops, season opener! 😄

So let's go – back on the road after the winter break 🚴‍♀️. My darling was (I think 😏) at least as relieved as I was… he doesn't have to ride

After the rain, the sun comes out ☀️ – and so do we, of course, spruced up (well... halfway 😅) ready for our walk with my sweetheart on the shore of Lake Geneva from Pully to Lutry 🌊🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️.

The idea was romantic: hand in hand, maybe gazing dreamily at the water... 💛

The reality? I almost slip on

Our path leads us through the Grèves de Cheseaux Reserve 🌿 – a protected

A charming stroll through Veyrier, adorned with Christmas decorations 🚶‍♂️🎄,

where lights whisper soft stories ✨📖

and winter holds its breath ❄️🤍.



The streets are filled with sparkling thoughts 🌟,

windows glow like warm hearts 🕯️❤️,

and every step resonates with quiet joy 👣🎶.

First, a leisurely stroll through the old town – cobblestones, little shops, the scent of history everywhere (and a hint of coffee). ☕️

We actually wanted to enjoy a relaxing, delicious dinner... talk about peace and quiet! 🤥 After an hour of waiting – our highlight so far: a small mixed salad 🥗 (without a main course, but with my heart rate rising 💢) – I finally lost my temper.

This morning, our adventure began with breakfast at Starbucks, where we decided that an ocean liner-sized coffee ☕️ was just what we needed to wake up. Fully caffeinated, we ventured into the Titanic exhibit – fantastic and interesting, even though the ship 🚢 unfortunately sank this time too.
