I did had to cycle about 10 km back to the "starting point" of the track but i would have missed the Bolgheri wine area ;-)
It was a realy warm welcome with close to 30 Celsius. Arriving in Voltera I met some other cyclist to have a beer and we went with quite an international groop for a pizza afterwards

First time more than 100km a day and 2500hm. Did this with a random guy I met on the route (Bart) from Belgium / Flanders. We both followed the Gran Guanche Route but not as racefull. The wind at Teide was so strong we had to paddle down the road for about the first 500hm ;-)
Left much too late but got home "early". A great tour published by Claudia Meckert as part of Orbit360.cc. The Bodensee tour is actually a must, but it has never been charming before. A quieter tour a bit away from the lake and the flow of tourists sounded much better. I was totally enthusiastic about
