The White Cliffs of Dover from Cullins Yard pub
(Feb) Started with a tremendous fish n chips at Cullins Yard (best I’ve eaten in the UK!) Then a breathtaking cliff top walk. The incline up is steep but worth the views at the top over the port. Clear views of France. Went at sunset and the light was striking.

Aston Clinton to Wilstone Green
Lovely winter walk past the 15th C St Mary’s Church, along the canal and reservoir with lots of bird life. We spotted Kingfishers, Goldfinches and Red Kites.
Stop at the Farm Shop for a tasty, hot sausage roll & a can of local ale.

Dancersend: Aston Clinton loop
Part of this path was closed due to dieback infected Ash trees. Otherwise, perfect for a drizzly December morning walk.

Aylesbury Arm Brick Bridge loop from Aston Clinton
Really lovely stretch down the canal past a few red stone bridges. The second half of the walk takes you down a road with no footpath. Best to avoid and take a detour.
