About Cory McAbee
Cory McAbee is a writer, director, singer, songwriter, musician, actor, animator and illustrator. His music and films have won awards worldwide. He has developed and directed an eight-year global collaborative which concluded with the completion of a feature film. He has given lectures, panel discussions and masters classes on art, alternative media and the collaborative process at conferences and universities throughout the world. He has traveled with the monarch butterfly migration from Chicago IL. to El Rosario, Michoacan Mexico. In 2022 he followed the monarch butterflies from Maine to Florida on a bicycle. His current insect restoration project involves walking from Queens NY to Canada.

My team and I took a hot and sunny walk to the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Pierhead Front Lighthouse in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. We saw a lot of monarch butterflies as they begin their southern migration, but they didn't stop for photos. We also saw several twelve-spotted dragonflies. Great looking bugs!
