Der historische Freistaat Flaschenhals war eine von 1919 bis 1923 existierende, selbstverwaltete Region im heutigen Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, die als kurioser „Kleinstaat“ entstand, weil sie durch Ungenauigkeiten bei der Festlegung der alliierten Rheinlandbesetzung vom übrigen Deutschland abgeschnitten war.
