Der historische Freistaat Flaschenhals war eine von 1919 bis 1923 existierende, selbstverwaltete Region im heutigen Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, die als kurioser „Kleinstaat“ entstand, weil sie durch Ungenauigkeiten bei der Festlegung der alliierten Rheinlandbesetzung vom übrigen Deutschland abgeschnitten war. Die Bewohner organisierten sich selbst, betrieben Schmuggel und gaben eigenes Geld heraus.

For me, today was my third round of this Aarschleife (Aar Loop). Although the sky was very overcast and the paths were quite wet in places, the 18 of us hikers had a lovely hike. Hardly a bench was missed, allowing us to take a quick look around or strike up a chat. Thanks to @Michael F, everyone managed
