The Hälsingland Trail is a 3-stage, multi-day hiking route through the rolling hills, deep forests and lake-dotted landscapes of central Hälsingland. Covering roughly a third of the full Hälsingeleden, this section links the municipalities of Bollnäs and Ljusdal, following quiet forest paths via stretches

The final day begins with an easy climb up Svedåsen, a gentle ascent that opens to a pleasant viewpoint over the surrounding forest. From here the trail rolls on towards Hästberg before rising again on a steady incline of just over 3 kilometres (1,8 mi) to reach Blackåsberget, the stage’s high point

The day begins with a gently undulating section towards Bessbo, a steady warm-up with small rises and dips through quiet forest. A short climb leads up towards Möckelåsen, the stage’s modest summit, before the trail settles again.

The route begins at Bollberget ski stadium, 5 kilometres (3 mi) northeast of Bollnäs. You can reach the trailhead by calling a local taxi company, or by taking Bus 1 and getting off at Hallonvägen, which halves the approach on foot.
