We love the trails around Lowther Castle. The Lowther Estate has really put a lot investment into these tracks and they are wonderful for all ages and abilities.
This route starts in Eamont Bridge, easily accessible by train to Penrith and has easy parking, but it could be shortened if you parked at Lowther

This little forestry plantation packs a lot of wonderful riding into a small area. This ride starts with a long gravel climb, only made better by the knowledge that you’ll get to descend this later!

This is quite possibly our most ridden beginner route, as it takes in so much off-road national cycling trails which are perfect for beginner gravel rides!
