Tag 3 nach Beginn des Flächenbrandes in der Hohen Venn bei Monschau (ist von Blankenheim knapp 45 km entfernt): grauer Rauch und ein seltenes Geruchsbild liegt über Bäumen, Tälern und Ortschaften (fast wie beim Morgennebel).. und je nach Windrichtung ist dies deutlich oder weniger deutlich wahrzunehmen.

Der Moordamm westlich vom Fliegerhorst ist für e-Biker wegen des losen Sandes (Sturzgefahr, weil man die Spur nicht halten kann) nicht zu empfehlen. Wir jedenfalls haben dort die Tour abgeändert.
