The tour started at the Planetenweg (Planet Trail) and first led through the Hersbruck Valley, past the Happurger Baggersee (lake) to the first short coffee stop in Hartmannshof. From there, it was a steady climb to the European Watershed at about 480m above sea level, before a quick descent to Sulzbach
