A tour that fills the entire day. It's all there: road, gravel track, paths under pine trees with lovely shade, and stretches in the blazing sun. Mijas is completely touristy, with busloads of people. Nevertheless, I recommend a visit, even if a few hours were enough for me.

The initial section goes through a pine forest with sandy soil, making it possible and pleasant to walk barefoot. The final six kilometers are on paved gravel roads, and about two kilometers before the finish, it runs alongside a road occasionally used by cars.

The trail leads through a pine forest and, due to the time of year, past flowering meadows and plants. The path is mostly sandy, so I walked about 80% of the way barefoot. The sun was shining, it was warm, and there were frequent shade spots, so at some point I even took off my T-shirt.

A tour of contrasts. The outward journey, and thus the first half, was mostly on roads; the second half ran along the beach, under trees, through bushes, and past a small tent settlement inhabited by individualists. The second part is definitely the more beautiful. I recommend doing the road loop first
