Mein Mann und ich wohnen im schönen Münsterland. Sind viel zu Fuß oder mit den Rädern unterwegs. Mal mit, mal ohne Komoot.
Wer Fragen oder Anregungen hat kann mir gerne unter:
Today we took on part of the Holperdorper Teuto loop and part of the Hermannsweg. A route that you could run really well. The paths were a little muddy in between, but everything was fine along the edge. It was wonderfully quiet and you could only hear the birds chirping. 🐦
There was also a mother duck with 10 mini ducks on the small lake. These were at most 2 days old. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because the little family was swimming so close to the edge under the branches.
Malepartus is closed, but drinks and a small snack are available. Of course, with the friendly advice to only consume everything after 50 m, because the public order office comes to inspect.

Inspired by other Komootler, we took on the Elter dunes.
But a lot went wrong with my recording today. 😒
The distance must be shortened by 5.7 km. Had turned on Komoot for a short while on the approach and didn't stop again. 🙈Therefore also the great average speed.
But we parked by the lake from where we started.
Unfortunately, Komoot was definitely canceled 3 to 4 times during the hike.
Anyway, we found the way and had a wonderful afternoon. 💪🙃
Part of the route leads over the Emsauen cycle path. But there were very few cyclists and hikers on the way. It will definitely look different there on the weekend.

Today we were in the art and heather garden at the forest cemetery Lauheide, Telgte, which was open to the public.
It was wonderfully beautiful there. The heather is in full bloom and there was buzzing and buzzing everywhere.
There is art for every taste in the garden. The works of art were all made from old parts that no one needs anymore.
Various exhibitions can be seen in the house.
There is enough seating for breaks in between.
The garden is also featured in the book "Lucky Places in the Münsterland".
He was also presented on WDR "Wunderschön" on August 23, 2020. The broadcast can be found in the WDR's media library until August 23, 2021. It starts at minute 58:20.

This morning: "It's only 1 °, but the sun is shining. Where are we running today?"
We thought about it briefly and then we decided on the peat bog lake near Bevergern.
The sun was shining, the birds were in a good mood and there were few people around the peat bog lake. It was just lovely. Bevergern is a cozy place with very beautiful old houses. Of course there is also a new development area with very nice new houses. Too noisy for me right on the main street

From tomorrow it will be significantly colder, so the heat had to be used again for a bike tour.
From Sythen Bhf we went to Silbersee III. Then on to Dülmener See. There is a holiday complex there. Unfortunately, you cannot walk or drive around the lake.
On the way back towards Sythen it was about 2-3 km parallel to the motorway. Really corrosive. There is no other option. The hiking trail X5 runs on the other side of the motorway. But it cannot be used as a cyclist, according to a couple we asked.
All in all a nice tour in wonderful sunshine.
