Spectacular excursion deep into a particularly dense part of the indigenous old-growth afromontane Knysna rainforest. Giant trees, strange mushrooms and bird life in abundance!

Demanding hike up to Sleme peak with jaw-dropping views of the Vrata valley. Couldn't reach the summit due to snow cover and the path we took down clearly wasn't used in the last years, nerves were wracked 😅 Having the Peričnik waterfall to ourselves made the stunning adventure even more worth it.
