On the second day, you could feel the first hike in your bones, but there was so much to discover that the stage felt shorter than it was. Some found it already too cold for swimming at the destination, but the stretch of beach was very nice for a refreshing foot bath.

Our last stage once again offered everything: forest, water, and meadows.
The paths were beautifully green in May; shade and sun in a pleasant alternation. And yet, at the very end, we had something to complain about: we would have preferred to end our Gendarmstien at the Vibaek mill.
