Carnie Woods on the edge of Westhill has a fantastic newly maintained path which makes it suitable for wheels. For little ones there are plenty of small rocks to scramble on and picnic benches for snack stops. Lots of little side paths offer muddy puddles for splashing in and fallen trees in the woods

This is a great little walk for little legs. Buggy and carrier friendly so it's great for all ages and stages. This section of tbe Moray Coastal Trail will normally be covered first if you follow the standard route. However, we did the route in reverse so this was our final section. It is mostly on pavements along a road so is the least scenic part of the trail but benefits from great food stops at both ends
