The route is very well maintained and is accessible to everyone. The autumn colors are very well expressed around the lakes. The pictures speak for themselves! :-)

Low clouds, autumn brilliance, and wonderful people. The pictures are a testimony to this. Did Ettaler Manndl 2 times just as a challenge.

This event involves a beautiful cross and an even more beautiful geographical phenomenon. This route takes you through a very steep approach to the Riemannhaus. The approach is not enjoyable but, something that has to be done before reaching the beautiful Riemannhaus and the Steinernes Meer. From here, you start the approach towards Schönfeldspitze that requires UIAA I climbing skills and has mostly SAC T5 exposure with a short T6 exposure towards the peak. The route then descends into the Steinernes Meer, which translates to "a sea of stones", which is one of kind natural geographical phenomenon. Overall, one of the most beautiful events of my life.

Please follow the steinmandl on this route. You will not see any markings. The route is rated as SAC T4-T5 and UIAA I. If it gets harder than the rating, you are definitely on the wrong path. It is quite easy to get lost on the final stretch, both, while going up and coming down.
