Last stage of the Nibelungensteig. It was very nice to hike the 130 kilometers from Zwingenberg. We chose our sections so that we could always reach the beginning and end of a route using public transport from Darmstadt. Once the journey took 2.5 hours. The Crazy Run is a 100 km hike from Gemünden to Bad Vilbel through the Spessart on the Birkenhain trade route from the Middle Ages on the border between Bavaria and Hesse.
