Pas Vermell Viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

The Pas Vermell ("red step" in Catalan) gets its name from the beautiful color that the rock acquires in this section that requires paying attention and using your hands if necessary to secure the pass. The contrast of colors between the rock, the vegetation and the sea is simply unique.

Fantastic view of St. Elm! Absolutely worth seeing!

This section of the trail above the GR221 is (also) very beautiful. At this point you can climb over the rocks a bit off the hiking trail and not only have an elevated panoramic view, but also a nice, lonely place to take a break.

View of the sea from Coll des Vent

Highlight • Viewpoint

⛔️ As of June 2023
We did the "Vista de Sant Elm..." tour
clockwise.
Great at the beginning, but the spot above "Cap des Falcons" is more than borderline.
Coming from the south, there is no visible path.
Absolutely dangerous.
Abandoned after several attempts.
We then made our way to PAS VERMELL via PUIG D'EN TIÓ.
No picnic either and not recommended...

PS: we are not flip-flop tourists and are experienced in the Alps 😉

The old mill is the Son Mas mill, which was built in the 18th century. The mill was originally used to make flour from grain.

Port d'Andratx Promenade

Highlight • Viewpoint

Puerto de Andratx is a coastal town located to the west of the island.
It is a natural port with small mountains and cliffs around it and a beautiful promenade where the Lonja building is located as well as good restaurants and shops.
