Highlight • Mountain Hut

A pasture that is beautifully located on the first steep climb. Very nice Almboden with a great view of the vulture. Very good food.

Here you can get free electricity for your e-bike against a stop. Chargers for Yamaha and Bosch are available. The electricity for the e-bikes is generated by water power (waterfall) just opposite the Alm.

Obersulzbachtal Valley Head

Highlight • Gorge

It's quite a long hike! We went up on our bikes (without motors). There are a few steep climbs to the end of the valley. The wide path ends at the service lift. A beautiful valley, well worth the effort!

Bike & Hike Starting Point

Highlight • Parking

Bike & Tip: The destination of a Bike & Hike tour from here is the Kürsingerhütte. The Alpine Club hut, whose history began with the first ascent of the Großvenediger in 1841, is considered the base camp for the ascent of the 3,657-meter-high Großvenediger from the north. There is an extra car park for bikes at the material ropeway. The alpine path requires sure-footedness and stamina. In about an hour and a half and over a good 650 meters of altitude, it leads with a spectacular view of the glacier world of the Hohe Tauern National Park to the hut at 2,548 meters.

For the ascent to the Kürsingerhütte, you can also choose the variant via the Gletscherlehrweg & Kürsingersteig.

ATTENTION: The Kürsingersteig, however, is only passable with via ferrata experience and appropriate equipment.
