The TERRA.track "Kneipp to go" promises eleven kilometers of hiking pleasure through mountains and valleys with one or two refreshments north of the Kneipp health resort Bad Iburg. The fountain field at the Kneipp adventure park is the perfect starting point for this round. You can leave your car at the adjacent parking lot or you can travel by bus and get off at the town hall. The adventure trail "Water.Nature.Environment." On the Kolbach is already on, on which there is a lot of things to know and see on the subject.Over the Tegelwiese you hike into the forest and cross the Kolbach several times on romantic bridges. The tour leads you uphill parallel to Iburger Straße until you turn off to the Marien-Bildstock. Still in the forest you follow the Hermann-Wesseler-Weg up to the 315 meter high Grafensundern. Pass the telecommunications tower and continue to the Dörenberg at a constant height. The view from the summit is only surpassed by the view from the Hermannsturm: The Teutoburg Forest, the Münsterland and the Wiehengebirge are at your feet. After successfully conquering the Dörenberg you can stop at the nearby Gasthaus Dörenberg before returning to the valley of the Kolbach. A comfortable relaxation lounger awaits you on its banks, or you can cool off your feet in the refreshing water. Over the Tegelwiese you walk back to Bad Iburg, where a visit to the castle is finally worthwhile.
