Softly wavy vineyards on the one hand and huge dolomite towers on the other hand are the constant companions on the road bike tour starting from the south of South Tyrol into the Cembratal and back. The 95-kilometer road bike circuit begins in Kurtatsch on the Wine Route. On the Etsch cycle path it goes to Grumo, there you change over the Adige to S. Michele / Adige where you drive on the SP 58 to the cross with Faedo (about two kilometers). From here continue south following the signs to Cembra / Ville di Giovo. From Ville di Giovo in a fast descent to Verla where you meet the SS 621 from Lavis. Now slightly uphill over Cembra, Valda, Grumes, past Lago di Stramentizzo to Molina di Fiemme. There you have to push hard again to reach the Dolomitenstraße SS 48 via two hairpin bends. This climbing insert is necessary because the bypass tunnel of Castello di Fiemme is closed to bicycles. Once on the S 48, the Passo San Lugano is reached after a few kilometers and via Montan and Neumarkt it goes back to the starting point Kurtatsch.
