This collection of granite rocks overlooks the beautiful village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor in the Dartmoor National Park.

The rocks are thought to be the inspiration of the fictional 'Dream Tor' described in author and poet Beatrice Chase's novel.

Pil Tor is an impressive rock formation that affords terrific views over the rugged Dartmoor landscape, especially over Haytor, Saddle Tor and Widecombe in the Moor. It's relatively challenging and therefore great fun to scramble upon.
