Glemmtaler Baumzipfelweg

Highlight • Bridge

The nature-oriented circular trail leads two kilometers through alpine pastures, meadows, and forests. The one-kilometer-long treetop path starts at the Lindlingalm with the 200-meter-long "Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps". It is up to 42 meters high and spans the head of the valley at the source of the Saalach river. The crossing offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountain scenery as well as the high ropes course, whose routes run alongside and under the bridge. The scenic centerpiece of the treetop path is the 600-meter-long canopy walk. A massive larch wood construction – up to 30 meters above the forest floor – with stairs, towers, platforms, and bridges.

Opening hours:
May to October: daily 9:30 AM to 6 PM
November to March: Tuesday and Sunday 11 AM to 9 PM
Outside the stated times, a coin-operated machine is available.

Adults €9, Children (from 4 years) €6

Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps

Highlight • Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps is part of the Baumzipfelweg and therefore only accessible for a fee. However, it is a worthwhile excursion, especially for families with children. The Baumzipfelweg is open daily from May to October from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and from December to March from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Outside of the ticket office opening hours, however, a coin-operated machine is available, making the path across the bridge and through the treetops possible at any time.
