This is a very pleasant walk starting at the parking area at the eastern end of the Tebay Borrowdale valley. Due to the motorway repair works, there is a change from the path that traditionally went by the memorial to 3 railway workers killed by a runaway unmanned truck while working on the track at Tebay. The diversion as detailed in the saved route takes the walk down to the river but I recommend staying on the Roundthwaite road to avoid some difficult bracken covered slopes. The path returns to this road!
