Squeezed in a quick hike before dinner. So much evidence of humans living hear for a dang long time! The stonework on the trail was impressive but I'm thinking it was done more by nature. I made it up past Castillo de Tou for a great view of the twilight sky. It was fun to walk around the village too before grabbing some food from the local restaurant. The history of this town, the abandonment because of the loss of farmland due to damning of the rivers creating the reservoir, and it's restoration is an interesting story. The project to restore must have taken a lot of effort. We're the only guests in this particular accomodation it seems. There are several other ways to stay here.
