As soon as we left the albergue and marched towards our next destination, we were greeted by the (not so few) people still partying from the night before. It was cold, and a warm first coffee of the day in the main plaza was appreciated. The original plan was to walk for 32 km until As Seixas.
During the first kilometres, we were overtaken by a fast pilgrim from Andalucia, which was talking on the phone to a friend about how he was going to get to Santiago (100km away) in just 2 stages of 50km each. We played with the idea of attempting the same (and we're even able to keep a very fast pace!), but eventually we got to our original destination and we decided to stay the night as planned. Unfortunately, our planned Hostel was closed that day, and we had no other option than to walk to the next one: 14km away! We stopped at a park for some minutes to rest, and then continued walking all the way to Melide, where the "Camino Frances" joined with ours. We arrived well after sunset with very sore legs and a smile in our faces.
