Priestcliffe to Bakewell via Monsal Dale

We caught the TP3 from Buxton and got off at the Waterloo Hotel by Taddington. This part of the walk was interesting, walking through Priestcliffe and then dropping down to the Monsal Trail. This part was long and (if you've done it before) rather boring. If you like flat, then you'll enjoy it and there is a lot of history. There were two places to have refreshments but we found that Hassop had the greater choice of food. Would I do it again? probably not, I might consider cutting across to Ashford in the water rather than going on to Bakewell. And it took a lot longer than 2.35hrs..............
