Kleine Runde am Sonntagnachmittag hinauf zur Eselsburg, die heute für einen EKS bewirtschaftet war.
Wann die im 18. Jahrhundert bereits als stark reduzierte Ruine beschriebene Burg zerstört oder aufgegeben wurde, ist bislang nicht gesichert. Möglicherweise wurde sie wie das Kloster Rechentshofen und diverse Burgen im Bauernkrieg durch den aufständischen „Zabergäuer Haufen“ 1525 zerstört und danach nicht mehr aufgebaut.
