Superato l’ultimo paese croato, alle 10, attraverso uno sterrato, arrivo al confine bosniaco. La vecchia frontiera, ora bypassata dal nuovo ponte, è deserta. Breve giro a Naum. Dopo 15 km rientro in Croazia: anche la nazionale è quasi vuota, scorrendo tra coste frastagliate, allevamenti di cozze e isole.

Dopo 25 km il traffico aumenta bruscamente. Devio su un percorso alternativo, salgo a 380 m e attraverso un altipiano pietroso completamente deserto. Scendo a Slano, e seguo la costa quando posso su strade secondarie. La nazionale è scorrevole ma si percorre sempre in tensione. Mi fermo in un villaggio sul mare, 10 km da Dubrovnik.
