The second day started with sun but there was still a strong wind blowing against me for the first 2h until Ehrwald. The path is still amazing along the Loisach and when you get to Ehrwald the landscape literally takes your breath away! After that comes the hardest part of the trip: to get 1300m to cross the Fernpass, there are long streaks having 10-12% gradient. The effort is then rewarded by a long descent down to the bottom of the valley and by equally stunning scenery!
From Imst to Landeck I enjoyed a very smoothie part with the sun of the late afternoon embracing me sweetly and giving me the last energies to take the final climbs until Prutz.
