Vlakbij Roosendaal vind je tussen de landbouwgronden een prachtig stuk natuur, met heide, bos en als hoogtepunt het Rozenven.
De naam Visdonk is ontstaan uit het oude woord fis en uit donk. Fis betekent bunzing, een kleine marterachtige die het tegenwoordig helaas moeilijk heeft in Nederland. En in Brabant vind je meer 'donken': zandige ophogingen in moerasgebied.
