Una tappa lunga e interessante. Il percorso odierno si snoda in gran parte su strade sterrate attraverso boschi e macchia mediterranea: oggi passeremo accanto all'acquedotto romano di Los Milagros, appena fuori Mérida, e alla diga romana di Proserpina; poi, da Aljucén, affronteremo i quasi 20 km, suggestivi e solitari, fino ad Alcuéscar, attraversando in parte il Parco Naturale del Cornalvo.
