Day #2 Dieppe to Forge les Eaux

Into deepest Dieppe. Avoiding the long queues, awaiting the swing bridge to swing, and soon onto perfectly surfaced cycle paths née the old railway line. A fallen tree blocked the path. Pas probleme. Onwards.
A cheery family group, trimming an enormous hedge waved and called out to their friend ambling on his bike just ahead. Friendly Frenchies I mused until said cyclist decided an unannounced u turn was appropriate. Aagghhh. Hitting the brakes and me shouting attention (in French of course) he hit his brakes as I swerved and sailed past. 2 near misses in one day!
Warm sunshine. A gentle tailwind on my back. No cars. Old railway stations became welcoming cafés and houses showed off their railway heritage by retaining the old station names. Rusting railway paraphenalia and signposts pointed the way ahead. Pancake with honey. Chocolat chaud. The sugar hit carried me to my stop for the night.
