Chiusaforte to Villach

A long but not difficult drag up to Camporosso for a well earned capucinno and cake. Then across to Tarvisio before a tougher up and down section to the Austrian border. Unfortunately the descent on the Austrian side a little boring, the cycle path following the main road for most of the way. There used to be a longer very enjoyable final gravel section through the forest by the river into Villach, but that's now shortened due to a closed cycling bridge across the river. But the final section is pleasant and Villach itself is a very bike-friendly town with plenty of cycling infrastructure. Through the center and up to Camping SeeHof, which is very much a transit campsite, but they are very fiendly and seem to make sure all cyclist have somewhere to sleep for the night and the price is very reasaonble.
