Umrundung des Weinfelder Maars, das auch Totenmaar genannt wird, da es hier ein Pestkrankenhaus gab. Vom Dorf ist nur die Kapelle übrig geblieben. Der Friedhof wird von der Gemeinde Schalkenmehren genutzt.
Ein Ausblick auf das Schalkenmehrener Doppelmaar mit seinen benachbarten Feucht- sowie Trockenmaar ist durch die Bäume eingeschränkt.
