Take a rest day in Watson lake, mostly on account of the rec centre. Return to camp in same place and also head to rec centre for 3rd time today. Don't leave Watson lake till after lunch, expecting to maybe ride 80km, but I have a string tailwind and push on to ride 130km, camping in the banks of the liars river. Beautiful spot with plenty of firewood. Alaska highway much quieter than I imagined now that the summer traffic has mostly passed .
