Day 69: No name lake - Jules Creek

More of the same from yesterday. Fortunately with weather. Colours now turning in the vegetation definitely signals end of summer up here. Days noticeably quieter. Pull off onto small gravel tracks beside a creek. Place is marked on ioverlander. Very quiet but a pick up arrives later. Ar first I assume tourists but it's a local first nations guy who I quickly realize is pissed off I'm here - mostly the location of the fire, which he says is in the middle of the road. There's no such road as such and I decided to have the fire here as it's on gravel and not grass. He points to another area nearby saying there is a fire pit but there's none. I apologize and explain I'll clear up in the morning. He eventually drives off but doesn't make me feel good. Think he was just surprised and shocked to see me too.
