Out and back over the bumpy Lliria road then the well known, steady if not gentle climb to Rates. Once at Rates there is a new sign indicating the extra section with ramps of up to 19% to the so called Super Rates. There is a gravel section of 100m followed by rough concrete up to the top. It's tough but well worth the effort for the views over to Tarbena and Calpe.
