Si può anche partire da pian della milizia accorciando il tragitto. Ultimo tratto di salita un po' esposto, potrebbe creare qualche problema per le persone che patiscono questa condizione. Sentiero stretto. Non vi sono fonti d'acqua. Bel panorama della valle Argentera. Consigliato il secondo lago sotto la Ramiere per la sosta. Volendo anche giro ad anello o colle delle Fioniere per il panorama sulla val Thuras.
