Handthal Vineyards Loop — Final Day Ride

A short but demanding ride from Ebrach, climbing toward Handthal and then descending into Oberschwarzach and the vineyard village of Kammerforst.
The long uphill sections tested the legs after several intense days, but the views over the vines — and tasting a few grapes along the way — made every climb worth it.
The ancient foot path between Ebrach and Handthal felt magical, like riding through a path carved centuries ago.
After passing Breittach, I returned to Ebrach just in time to watch the sunset over the Kloster, and for the first time stopped to admire the Rathaus and the Bamberger Tor.
A perfect final-day loop: short, steep, beautiful, and full of that quiet Oberfranken charm.
