Possibly the easier way to complete this ring, however I considered the climb to San Glorio to have more road traffic than that of Piedraslinguas.
Personnally I planned 2 breaks, one in Velilla where the bar in the corner is always open and serves great tortilla, the other in Potes. Monday is market day and you can pick up an empandada.
The route is perfect for road bikes there are 5 hydroelectric dams (lakes) on this route (I forgot to go and see the Reina). So plenty of cruising km mixed in with gentle climbs.
The only tough climb is the Piedraslinguas which I did after lunch and at 35°C, there is nowhere for water until a restaurant 2km from the top. Be warned!
