Those who know the area will recognise the description of the route. The Lenchs are a group of small villages in the hills to the north of Evesham. The villages are high on the hills and are separated by deep valleys with a brook at the bottom. The worst of the hills is on the edge of Rous Lench heading towards Church Lench. As the profile below will testify, some of these hills are steep! For all the effort it is a beautiful and quiet area, and great way to get the lungs going on a summer's day.
